Short Head Floating Fly Line with Overhang Marker

If i could give it more stars I would. Im a beginner fly fisherman, I was doing ok with my casting. After I received my short head floating fly line with overhang marker it instantly improved my casting 100%. Now im casting (in my mind) like a pro! Awesome product and I tell everyone I know about it. Just wish I could buy it local (Idaho USA) and the straight and soft leaders....forget about it, simply the best!

Been useing the short head 4wt for the last few months and bee really impressed with it the casting is spot on every time with it and it’s great on the local river by me as the over hand marker makes a indicator know how far to cast when the light starts to go know when the indicator is at the end of the rod I know I’m just of the trees and I know I won’t get snagged up in them now I’ve gone and swapped all my lines o over and got the dry fly line with h I can’t wait to get out and use now

I now have changed all my reels over to Sunray lines. Nothing matches the performance and quality of service from this company. I fish the Adirondacks in NY state and these lines perform in all weathers.

Have used this line on my last two outings and do get a bit further yardage, however, will need to practice with it more and change my stance as recommended in the video,to side on so that I can see the overhang marker loading into the rod rings. Did not like casting with 2 or three droppers as the line seemed to be unbalanced. Snagged behind me as it has quite a long head by the time I get the marker into the rings. Retraining my self but will perceiver and continue to use. Line length is about 12 yards longer than my previous floating line. Overall I think it will eventually become a very useful line. My first fish on this line.

I live in Arizona and fish creeks and rivers in the West. This line allows me to use the advantages of the overhang marker and finer running line. With the standard line I would seldom get to the overhang marker. Great product!

I build custom fly rods and only recommend Sunray lines. When I demo a new rod for a customer I use Sunray lines, they buy after trying.

As we are mid winter here in Sweden, there is ice on the closest water. So last friday I couldn't stand it any more. I need to cast!
I've tried a lot in my garden and close areas, but there is no room for any distance at all.
Brought my 4# rod loaded whit my investment from black week. A "short head line" from Sunray. Because of the circumstanses of a minor lockdown, I went to a sporting hall nearby. From time to time I work in the same building and even though we've Corona restictions I have axcess to the hall.

I was there for an hour, standing in the absolute middle of tha hall. And with ease I could reach the handboll goals in both ends. The line just worked perfectly, smoothly but with distinction, loading the rod. And then shoting like a projectile. I tried my best to put my technique the way Tom showed in the recent lookdown videos.
I felt like It worked pretty well. I was so pleased and a bit proud when I went home.

PS: I shot a video during my exercise. When I whatch it, as I came home, my pride decreased a bit. But to watch was a good lesson to. There is room for improvement!

Bought as a gift for my son. Paired with a 10’ Sage RPL it is superb, so good that I bought one for myself a few days later.

Just put the line to the water. And out she goes! Shooting straight, lands straight, even when there’s no space behind. I love it!!

What an awesome fly line!!!!
I fish for pike on the river Hull near Driffield, its probably about 45' at its widest at hempholme lock, with any other line I've used in the past i would only make it q little over halfway across, but with this line I'm hitting the other bank, it also floats really well keeping my fly in the zone i like to fish.
