True Review

Ok first, I ASSumed it was a weight-forward line. It was not. But turns out, I absolutely did not need it for my 4 weight. I am not a make-believe guy, so, when I say it flings as far as any weight forward line with less splash, I mean it. I can easily toss this 60’ feet with accuracy. Love the red line, I like seeing my cast, and have enough leader line to make the color of my running line irrelevant to the fish. Sure with this was made in USA.

Welcome to Team Sunray Vincent. So happy to hear you're enjoying your Proline.

ABSOLUTE Fire !

I usually fish Rio or SA Which I Love !
I purchased some Sunray Pro Floating Red, #4 over a year ago...
I throw it on a TFO Legacy LK / Orvis Hydros II.
The casting is precise and fast, which allows for pin-point timing and recovery.
The line sails man ! And ROLLS like a Fkn DREAM !
Don't let the price fool you !
In most cases packaging ads 30% to cost including shipping weight.
Sunray sends this line in a bag which greatly reduces cost and helps reduce wasted plastic.
I just purchased a #5 Pro Floating...
Thanks Y'all !
Stay Motivated !
Keep It Tight !

Very good line excellent value.

I use the 7 wt line on a 9’ 6 wt rod to help with casts less than 40’ in saltwater. And also shortened the tip to help turnover heavier flies and dealing with windy conditions.
Works well casting into tight areas and sight casting Snook.
I also have the 8 wt line ( 9 wt not available) on my 9’ 9 wt rod and even with the longer head, it loads and shoots quickly. I haven’t modify it yet, other than taking the extra 20’ off the back end.
It compares well with my $100 Sc Angler Amplitude line.
Helps to clean and dress the lines after every use so they shoot easier.
At $37 per line shipped, I feel better when fish drag the fly line through heavier structure and chew them up.

Delighted to hear you're enjoying your Proline and find it comparable to a line more than double the price. The Proline is our entry level line too, so imagine how much you'll like the Proline Max! And we do that one in #9. Thanks from all at Sunray HQ.

Great Product

Fantastic line, could be even better if supplied on a spool to help with loading the reel, saving the birds nest. Would still be worth a few extra ££ to cover the spool
