This fly line lands out straight and with minimum disturbance , when fishing for Totally wild fish that have possibly never seen a fisherman before, this surely has to be a bonus .I used a #3 with a 10ft soft action rod , by my own admission I am not the best caster but I found this no problem , turned over well and presented the fly nicely.I have started using the Lineslik too now which I feel helps, reduces friction and helps the fly line sit high on the water, making the fly line easier to lift off on the first back cast. I don't use the micro loop connection on the end but it looks well finished and sturdy. Not stupid money either which is always a bonus .
Totally impressive fly line, I have a 0/1# 9ft Stephen fly rod. This line was made for this rod. Have it on a Phlueger 3/4 click paw reel. Casting this line is a dream ! When some of my other lines wear out I’m going to by more Sunday products. This is leading edge stuff !!!

I’ve used Sunray lines for the last couple of seasons. When fishing in low clear water conditions for wild browns the micro thin dry lines really give you an edge with a delicate presentation. Definately recommended for those who enjoy spotting and stalking their fish.

Well, i’ve contemplated buying this line for a long time now and can only say...... I wish i had done it sooner! The problem I had here was that i was trying to compare it to other lines on the market, when in fact what Sunray have done here is create a completely new and revolutionary product! .... Its really not like any other fly line i’ve ever cast before! .... This line is simply a ‘Game changer’ ...... It loads my 10ft Streamflex with ease, i’ve never felt it load so well before, its like it has literally brought my rod to life! .... and with the overhang marker at hand, a couple of false casts and this line just flies out!!! Not only does it cast with ease but it’s really fine diameter allows it to present beautifully!!! Tom is right, it makes me giggle every time i cast it! To me this product has changed the face of my fishing and offered me new opportunities that i wouldn't have had before! Its so refreshing to see a company investing in proper research and development to actually engineer quality products and not just churn out the same old products! Was a bit long wait for the line - but now everything perfect. We're heading for the Marmorata-season's Start in Italy and will try our best (probably more on the Nymph as there won't be many insects hatching in February :-))
