Fly Line Backing

Micro thin to maximise your spool capacity.

90% of fish are lost due to the backing being too thick, forcing line against the reel.

That's why we've made ours low diameter. Low diameter Dacron ™ braid backing. Knots easily and dries when on the spool. We use this backing for freshwater and saltwater fishing.

We also use this backing in 8' sections as indicator material when nymphing, applying Lineslik to make it float or leaving it untreated for direct line nymphing.

There's no difference in the colour options, but we use orange for floating lines and green for sinking lines. It makes for easy identification of lines on reels.

    Only practiced

At the moment only learning to fly cast. The line seems to move quickly between the rings and I am concentrating on getting the line to go where I want it to go will start concentrating on distance at a later date. I am looking forward to trying it out on mullet and bass in the summer.

This is my second line as I damaged the tip on my first . Superb finish ,casts effortlessly little hang, upstream wet / dry or short line techniques , manages wind that other lines struggle with. Just a better line .
