Not just a mullet line .

Not had a chance to cast at mullet with this yet, but I had a great evening session casting small dries to some shy rainbows. Offers an unusually good combination of range and subtle presentation. Now, I just need to find some of those tricky grey buggers ...

Excellent quality

Casts like a dream and no matter what fly you are using it lands so softly onto the water surface the cant believe the distance you can ping this line out fully to the backing knot I'm not joking.

We love reviews like this. We're so pleased to hear you're having success with your new Sunray line.

Cracking line (once you get used to it)

Thought I would road test the line at the Orvis Saltwater Festival last weekend in the presence of Colin Macleod (the designer) himself. First thing to realise is that the front 10ft or so nearest leader is VERY thin. This gives superb presentation and fly turnover - I even tried a 15ft leader to test it out - but of course no real weight. The weight is sat behind that first 10ft running line so first 10-15 casts left me with a curled line about 10 feet away. Frustrated yes, but as Colin told me it's about getting the weighted section out with your first few false casts. Did that and BOOM, distance, presentation etc etc. Indeed once sorted, managed a 3 hour session almost without any false cats at all, just using water tension. Very pleased indeed with this line and thoroughly recommend it.

Thanks for taking the time to review your Mullet line, and great that you had the expert on hand to help out with hints and tips!
