Dave G.

"Seems so obvious now"

The fact it's one continuous Kevlar fly line and backing is just genius.

Warren C.

"Panic over"

I've got a 100% strong smooth connection so when a fish runs I just let it.

Joshua A.

"NoKnot has changed it for me"

I used to worry about the knot jamming in the rod guides. No more.

Henry L.

"No more expensive backing"

Basically it's like getting free gel spun backing, but better.

5 times stronger than steel.

Kevlar is used in the most demanding environments in the World. It has zero stretch which means that your casting gets a hit of steroids, the hook sets are instant and pound for pound your fly line is now 5 times stronger than steel. Because our core does not stretch during casting or fishing, our coatings don't crack.

It's not just our core that is bullet proof

Reinforced welded loop

Featuring a Kevlar core, our welded loops are already the strongest on the market. That wasn't enough for us, we went one step further and wrapped our welds in a micro thin film of protective tubing. Supple, strong and slim.

Cores of steel & coatings of glass.

We're not just a pretty face.

Our fly lines contain microscopic particles of 3M glass air microspheres. Every colour is chosen not just for it's optical qualities but also it's flight characteristics. Our R&D into pigment science informs our coating formulas in a way that has set us apart from the industry for the last 15 years.

NASA® approved.

Interesting Fact : When the Mars Pathfinder landed on the surface of Mars, ropes made of Kevlar® helped it to complete its 40-million-mile journey.

So what is Kevlar® exactly?

Casts and fishes brilliantly in the 2 to 10ft depth zone . Absolutely flies out and sinks tip first so contact with the fly is maintained, even when retrieve is paused

This is my go to line for Winter or in bright sun. The fish go deep and this line gets me into the feeding zone.

Sunray fly lines are the only fly lines with Kevlar® cores. Our Overhang Marker® has helped 80,000 fly fishers Worldwide cast more effectively. We invented 'micro-thin' fly lines in 2014 and our tapers are built on 45 years of fly casting experience.

I needed the fly line for a competition. I ordered on Friday and it was on my door matt Saturday morning, amazing.
I had confidence in the fact the core was made by Dupont and the coating 3M. I wasn't dissapointed. Wow!
I couldn't believe how quick it was delieverd. It felt like I had just placed the order and it was there! All the way from the UK in a matter of days.
Despite Brexit I took a chance ordering from this UK company. Yes, I had to pay taxes but it's the best fly line I have ever bought and it was cheaper than the American brands.
