Yet another quality product from the Sunray Team

I love my fishing gear and over the years I have seen it and done it all .
I have recently ordered more goodies from Sunray and amongst the haul was a couple of reels of Hybrid tippet . Great material and of course it does the job in hand very well.
Well done and keep on thinking out of the box 👍

Straight & soft leaders

Glass and graphite rods, 2wt glass, 4wt glass and 4wt graphite.

5X and 6X leaders, awesome! Bought six of each during the last sale, and they are just as good as those I bought last year.

Easy to tie on a perfection loop, if that's your preferred choice. I just knotted up two for tomorrow's trip.

Please let me know, Tom, if you suddenly have the leaders available in 12-15' range also.
My 2wt is 6', and I love casting it with a leader+tippet between 12-18'

Please also let me know if you suddenly start selling the hybrid tippet in 7X to knot up the 6X leader a bit.

Cheers, mate!

Perfection

I was sceptical, who wouldn't be! 100% fluorocarbon is the best they all cry. Well now we have a tippet to challenge the best. This line lies straight, cuts through the surface film with out dragging down the smallest dry, it is strong ultra thin and reliable with the 5X line and landed fish on same cast from 2llb to 6llb. On my 9ft #5 Grey's gr50 rod with Sunray git down float/int or midge tip. Plus With this line on my rod I can cast as far as my 10ft #7 Grey's XD comp rod with a 40+ line which is designed for distance. So Sunray all the way. Now to save for a Sunray rod. In the mean time will have to settle for trying the line slick which looks assume. Thanks 👍

No strength

No strength in the line, line breaks as soon as the knot is tied, regardless of method used. Totally disappointed.

Straight and true

Excellent tippet material: no coil memory, good knot strength and lays straight.

hybrid tippet

the spool holding the tipper is not the usual hard plastic but is soft and not suitable for purpose, i will have to respool.

50m Hybrid Tippet

Trust your tippet

Small flies or big flies. The one thing they all share is what they are tied to. The fly is only as good as how it is presented. Too stiff, too thick, too shiny...say goodbye to that fish of a lifetime.

Flurocarbon matrix coating

Stops the Nylon core absorbing water and weakening. Higher abrasion resistance than Nylon core.

Nylon. Dupont USA

Supple, knots easily, lends itself well to presenting flies in a natural manner.

Amazing knot strength, very supple. Turns lures over & presents dries perfectly. Low diameter helps for small stuff too.

Our Fluorocarbon coating protects the Nylon from absorbing water.

Maintain your strength

Regular Nylon loses 15% of it's strength throughout the course of your fishing

15% line strength. Gone.

Normal Nylon tippet loses 15% of it's strength during the course of your fishing day. Water is absorbed into the material and reduces it's strength. This doesn't happen with Hybrid.

"Excellent tippet"

Definitely help me catch more fish, it makes my presentation of my flies look very natural.

Dave D.

"I use this exclusively"

I use this tippet material exclusively. Top quality material and good knot strength. Never had a problem.

Mark B.

"Great Strength"

This could be the best tippet material I’ve used in almost 40 years fly fishing.

Paul R

"Great turnover"

Not too supple to interfere with turnover. Not too stiff to hinder presentations.
