Lineslik Fly Line Speed & Clean Boost

To be honest, I was thinking, here we go, another gimmick being pushed onto the fly fishing community and another thing to wedge into my waistcoat. I didn’t appreciate perhaps (a) what a difference it makes to the casting (b) only takes a couple of mins to prep your line ( c) once prepped, there’s no need to carry it around. My thoughts now are that I’ll be keeping Lineslik maintenance of my lines up, it can only extend the life of them and improve my distance too. What’s not to like.

I have now purchased 3 different lines from Sunray and to say I'm impressed is an understatement. I run these lines in #6 and #8 and can't fault them. After 40 years of casting a fly I now cast further and with more accuracy. Here in Canada we fish streams in tight quarters within heavy bush situations. The ability to roll cast these lines makes getting the fly to the spot much easier.
I have helped in teaching casting to members in our Club and once we can meet again due to the pandemic, I will be demonstrating these lines to fellow members.
