Medium / Long Range Micro Thin Dry Fly Line

An excellent fly line for both nymph and dry fly fishing. My setup comprises of a Sage ESN #2 10ft rod and Landon Guru 1.5 reel with a JL #2 line. The line casts effortlessly and accurately with the duo method, droppers or single fly. A delight to use.

I ordered a floating line for my 10 foot 3 weight rod. I was pretty sceptical but thought it worth a punt at the price. I wasn’t expecting much. The line was neatly packaged with small loops at each end. On Sunday 5th July I went up to one of the Dunnet Head Lochs Caithness. I am a reasonably competent caster but certainly nothing special. When the white area was at the rod tip I launched my cast and too my great surprise the whole length of the line in my hand extended in a nice straight line and fell softly on to the surface of the water. I was flabbergasted. I am just ordering a 5 weight line for another rod

I was fishing the JL one weight on my 2 weight and Zero weight Sunrays, (Yes I know I’m tight but one was at close range and the other Italian style. OK and I also live in Yorkshire.) when I bumped into a fellow and far better angler who was also fishing Sunray lines. We agreed that the lines were pure genius. Another top rate product from Sunray. Easy casting with a featherweight touch.

"When fishing in rivers, I like to be able to change from nymphs to dry flies and back in accord to the fishing conditions. Specially in the river where I fish, grayling will rise on narrow time periods along the day , and one has to adapt very quickly. Primarily, I use dry fly-, dry dropper- and Euro nymphing techniques to catch graylings and brownies. As a fly fisherman, I`m usually always on the move when I fish... trying to cover many fishing spots in relatively short time. Thus, I really dislike carrying many rods with me. I have used JL Dry Fly line for couple of months now and I especially like, how easily am able to alter between my preferable fishing techniques with just minor changes to the leader/tippet, without making any compromises to the effectiveness of the techniques.
