    Class Glass

    If you're used to carbon or graphite fly rods, it'll take you a while to adjust to the California Glass rod. Once dialled into the softer action, I started really enjoying it. It's coming on every outing now!

    The California Glass Rod is the best 8' 4" #6 Fly rob I have ever used. Had 2 fish on this Rod the other day no problem fantastic Fly Rod.

    Fun little rod

    Back in the day , glass rods were awful . This well built 1wt rod felt soft and “floppy” but I tried it on a couple of Yorkshire small rivers and it was perfect . It casts well if you slow everything down and even small trout show their fighting qualities . It is my “go to “ rod now on streams and little rivers

    Sick rod!

    Ordered the 8' #4 California which I'll use on rivers & stillwaters. Not used as yet but the rod looks/ feels absolutely quality-super light & super flexible. Agree with Tom, fishing light weight is the way to go. Haven't used a 10'+ #7 in a long time & my back/ shoulder feels the benefit. Simple....fish lighter, fish longer. This Sunray Cali glass is a RAD addition to the quiver-highly highly recommended rod-cheers Tom!

    Managed a trip out with the rod good short and mid casts managed to get two nice rainbows one on a yellow buzzrr and one on a yellow owl rod was great on fighting the fish was fun.

    Lots of lovely wild trout on the California Glass rod

    I fished a Sunray glass rod with the Jeremy Lucas delicate presentation line, 12' leader & a Black Gnat.....lots of lovely wild trout were caught.
