      Sick rod!

      Ordered the 8' #4 California which I'll use on rivers & stillwaters. Not used as yet but the rod looks/ feels absolutely quality-super light & super flexible. Agree with Tom, fishing light weight is the way to go. Haven't used a 10'+ #7 in a long time & my back/ shoulder feels the benefit. Simple....fish lighter, fish longer. This Sunray Cali glass is a RAD addition to the quiver-highly highly recommended rod-cheers Tom!

      Managed a trip out with the rod good short and mid casts managed to get two nice rainbows one on a yellow buzzrr and one on a yellow owl rod was great on fighting the fish was fun.

      Lots of lovely wild trout on the California Glass rod

      I fished a Sunray glass rod with the Jeremy Lucas delicate presentation line, 12' leader & a Black Gnat.....lots of lovely wild trout were caught.

      Lovely little rod, seen action a couple of times now on tree lined small stream in Shropshire. Used for single dry fly and light duo set up. Delicate presentation at close range - typically around 20 foot, above 30 foot is a long cast on this water.
      Very pleased with purchase so far. Not many rods available in this configuration.
