What it's for

A non silicone cosmetic grade line treatment that soaks into the multifilaments of silk fly lines and protects / slicks pvc and Pu fly lines. Why? Reducing friction creates tighter loops, gets further distance and creates a barrier between water and the line, meaning quieter, easier pick ups and higher floating lines. Some silicone treatments are too thick, some are too thin, some attack the varnish on rod blanks. Sunray LINESLIK doesn’t. Being cosmetic grade we actually use it as lip balm and hand moisturiser too. You may laugh but when you’re in 60kph winds and / or blazing sun, you’ll be grateful for it. We have been, many times.

Fly Rod Warranty

Your rod is guaranteed for 3 years. In the event of a manufacturing fault we will either offer you a replacement rod or refund on the original rod. Please note we cannot carry spare sections for all our rods indefinitely.

Fly Line Warranty

Your fly line is guaranteed for 1 year for the original owner.

Our fault

If the product is in fact faulty you will receive either a replacement like for like product or a full refund.

Not our fault

If we find that the product has either no fault, or that the fault came from improper use, the item will be returned to you after you have paid return shipping. We will send you a simple PayPal invoice for the return shipping cost.

Don’t panic!

We have been fishing all our lives. We know what is user error and what is not. We are also very fair people. Our default position is to refund and it is rare that a fault has been so clearly assessed as user error we were unable to refund.

Postage paid returns

If you are sure it is a manufacturing fault, we will send a postage page tracked postage label.

Once again, if you have experienced a fault with any of our products we want to be quick to apologise.

This stuff is slik!!

I have just discovered Sunray fly fishing tackle and I have to say, from what I’ve tried so far it is first class gear. I bought Lineslik, soft leader and the hybrid tippet SS. Mightily impressed by it all. Lineslik worked a treat and the line really did feel like it was travelling through the rod rings quicker with less drag.
My favourite so far though is the hybrid Tippett ss, this stuff is great. The description says it is strong, no memory and small knots. This is exactly my experience so far. I couldn’t believe how small the knot cinched down on the fly; very impressed.
When finances allow I will definitely be trying the overhang marker fly line and want to add to the tippett collection too. Keep up the good work Sunray

Fly line sounded like a chainsaw

I was having a few issues, my lines where all pretty dirty and made quite noise though the rings. The tip of one floater (not a sunray line) was sinking a few inches. I purchased linesilk, cleaned the lines a added lineslik. Amazing transformation. Silent casting and line sailing out in comparison. presentation improved and confidence restored. What not to like
