Floating head with integrated 4 foot slow sinking tip to get flies in the top 12". Short head to load quick and blast flies amazing distances with one haul. Designed to sink when used with fluorocarbon leaders to suspend flies with great control, rather than depending entirely on the fly line to get depth. This means you can fish the top 6" with more precision.

Overhang marker to prevent you over extending your false casts. For stillwaters with limited back casting space, kayak / belly boat fishers, coastal rock fishing, river fishing with limited space and / or with single hand spey casts. Low diameter front taper means that, although this is a sink tip line, it doesn't land like a brick.

  • 2 smooth, small, strong welded loops
  • Overhang marker
  • Micro thin running line
  • 100' total length
  • 36'-38' head length
  • Easy spool packaging, just tie on and pull
  • Low memory
  • Lies straight
  • Density compensated

          Fly Rod Warranty

This guarantee is limited to the Original Purchaser and is not transferable to future owners. If during 3 years of the original purchaser, the rod should break or fail, for whatever reason, simply return the rod, invoice, sales receipt, or proof of purchase and we will replace the rod or damaged/faulty part by return.

If within the first 36 months from the date of purchase the failure is due to a manufacturing fault or material defect, then our normal manufacturer’s guarantee will apply and the rod or part will be replaced free of charge, with the relevant handling/postage fee returned. Fees will apply if the failure was due to user error.

Should the rod in question be discontinued it will normally be replaced with a new model up to a similar value, or there is the option to ‘trade up’ to a rod of a higher value, by paying the handling/postage fee, plus the difference in value between the two models. Please note however, that in the case of discontinued models, if purchased in a clearance sale, the maximum value covered by this guarantee is the price paid and not the original RRP.

          Best sea trout line yet

Can even see the overhang marker at night. So easy to pick up the line and make a long single cast. Rolls and speys well too.

          Sink Tip Line

Hi Sunray, I’ve used the sink tip line several times now, it functions just as I wanted, gets those team of dawl bachs just at the depth I want to fish them. I’ve been also using it on a calm day fishing a daddy or sedge. It get the leader and tippet just under the surface yet the fly stays on the surface so no disturbance on the surface film on those calm days. Another great product Sunray

          git float/inter sink tip

First outing on a freezing day at Kingennie, the line flies through the rod rings ! and dead easy to roll cast under the trees at the boat house lochan. The trout were taking very gently but the line transmitted the takes well. Really pleased with the line, easy to figure of eight on such a cold day as the rod rings kept freezing!.

Git down float inter sink tip overhang marker

This line is a revelation to cast ,it makes reaching fish that are usually further away from the bank when a lot of people are fishing very easy. What I did not expect that it's also good for short cast's as well,I really like this line, and would recommend this to anyone.

          Amazing buy, great deal

The line is amazing! Best buy in years!

          What a line

My second git down first was for my #5 rod I was so impressed I bought one for my #7rod. It actually does what it says on the tin. The short head makes casting a dream the thin running line flies though the rings. There is next to no memory and has some stretch which I like. With this line I can cast further with less effort than I can with any other line I own from the likes of Cortland, snowbee, airflo.

          george wallace (London, GB)
          fantastic line

I bought this line to improve my cast and fish areas that had little or no back cast room. The line is perfect for roll casting so opens up more areas to fish.
